Kars on King rolls into downtown Oshawa with classic cars on August 22
Kars on King returns to downtown Oshawa on Friday, August 22, from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., bringing hundreds of classic vehicles to the streets for car enthusiasts, families, and visitors to enjoy. This free event will transform King Street and the surrounding area into a vibrant showcase of automotive history and family-friendly entertainment.
Something for everyone
Kars on King offers free activities for all ages, including classic car displays and live entertainment on the Main Stage at King Street and Celina Street, with musical performances scheduled at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy a wide variety of culinary options from downtown Oshawa restaurants.
Families can head to Memorial Park for interactive and kid-friendly programming, presented by OMVIC, Zoo to You’s animal exhibit, the LivingRoom Mobile Art Bus, inflatables, games, and strolling buskers.
The Touch a Truck experience, presented by Oshawa Power and hosted by Tribute Communities Centre (TCC) will also return for its 11th year. Head over to the TCC between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to explore over 30 unique vehicles up close.
