Recreation Facilities
The City’s recreation facilities will be running modified hours on Monday, May 19.

Important Fireworks reminder
If you plan to set off fireworks, remember to do so safely and considerately. Follow the City's Fireworks By-law, which allows fireworks on private property without a permit between dusk and 11 p.m. on Victoria Day. Any use outside of these times can result in fines. Learn more about fireworks.
Service Oshawa & City Hall
Service Oshawa will be closed on Monday, May 19. Customer Service Representatives will be available at Service Oshawa on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Waste Services
There will be no waste collection service on Monday, May 19.
- Collection for those with Monday service will occur on Tuesday, May 20 instead.
- Waste collection during the week of May 19 will occur one day later than usual your usual scheduled collection day.
To avoid being missed, place waste at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection. Remember the 4 bag limit and use tags for additional bags, which are available for $2.50/tag (sold in sheets of five).
