Community Awards nominations now being accepted

The City of Oshawa is calling for nominations of individuals, collectives and organizations that have made a positive contribution in the community.
The City is now accepting nominations for the following community awards:
- Community Legend Award;
- Oshawa Culture Counts Awards; and,
- E.P. Taylor Windfields Farm Champion Award.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Oshawa City Council will present recipients with their awards at a Council meeting in spring 2023.

The City of Oshawa is calling on you to help shape the future of Oshawa’s parks, recreation, library and culture facilities.
The Parks, Recreation, Library and Culture Facility Needs Assessment (P.R.L.C.) guides investment in indoor and outdoor facilities in both established and new growth areas for all Oshawa residents. The city has experienced tremendous growth since the last P.R.L.C. in 2015, and as a result, Oshawa community members are invited to help inform this update.

A recent report recommends that the City of Oshawa provide designated tobogganing areas on City-owned for safe community use.
In response to a Durham Municipal Insurance Pool (D.M.I.P.)
