The City of Oshawa is excited to announce its first independent public sculpture commission. The artwork, commissioned as part of the City’s Centennial celebrations, will be installed in the upcoming Downtown Oshawa Urban Square at the intersection of Bond Street East and Simcoe Street North, in the heart of downtown Oshawa.

The City of Oshawa is calling for nominations of individuals, collectives and organizations that have made a positive contribution in the community.
The City is now accepting nominations for the Community Legend Award; and the Oshawa Culture Counts Awards.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Oshawa City Council will present recipients with their awards at a Council meeting in spring 2024.
