CPR-trained community members encouraged to download Lifesaving Apps

The City of Oshawa and Oshawa Fire Services invite you to download the free PulsePoint and PulsePoint AED mobile apps and start helping save lives in our community.
PulsePoint features two mobile apps. The PulsePoint Respond app alerts cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)-trained users when someone in a nearby public place requires CPR for a cardiac arrest and provides information on where to find the closest public Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

On Monday, October 24, Oshawa voters took to the polls to determine who would guide the City of Oshawa, Region of Durham and local school boards for the next four years.
As per the Regional Clerk, Durham Region’s new Regional Chair is John Henry.

Get ready for a spooktacular Howl-o-ween

Just in time for Halloween, Oshawa Animal Services (O.A.S.) is hosting a spooktacular Howl-o-ween event on Sunday, October 30, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Durham College (DC) is officially on the map after recently acquiring the naming rights to one of GO Transit’s busiest stations. The leading post-secondary institution has embarked on a 10-year agreement with Metrolinx, with its first station naming partnership.
