Steering towards compliance: Oshawa’s licensing reminder for driving schools and instructors

The City of Oshawa is reminding driving schools and instructors whose business is based and/or vehicles are used for lessons or tests in Oshawa about the importance of adhering to its requirements under the Driving School and Instructor Licensing System.
To assist with compliance, the City’s Municipal Law Enforcement Officers are undertaking an education and enforcement campaign this November and December to inform driving schools and instructors of the current standards.

The notable Oshawa Tony’s Fastball Team has been honoured with a commemorative plaque at Alexandra Park, with more than 100 guests in attendance for the unveiling ceremony. The City of Oshawa will begin accepting applications November 1 for the 2024 Community Grant Program, which provides support to community groups and organizations in Oshawa.
