Leisure swim cancelled at South Oshawa Community Centre June 18

The South Oshawa Community Centre pool will be unavailable from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 18. As a result, all leisure swims scheduled during this time will be cancelled.
Status updates about this service disruption will be available at Recreation Facility Status.

Donevan Recreation Complex Pool closed until further notice

The Donevan Recreation Complex pool is closed until further notice.
As a result of this closure:
- All leisure swims scheduled at the Donevan Recreation Complex Pool have been cancelled until further notice.
- All swimming lessons scheduled at the Donevan Recreation Complex Pool have been moved to the Delpark Homes Centre. Swimming lesson participants will be contacted with additional details.

Long-time former Oshawa MP and NDP national leader Mr. Ed Broadbent was in Oshawa to celebrate the opening of Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park.
Dignitaries, members of Oshawa City Council, family and friends of Mr. Broadbent and community leaders were on hand for the official opening and ribbon-cutting on June 1.
