Revving up Downtown: Kars on King returns on August 23

Hundreds of classic vehicles will line downtown Oshawa streets for everyone to admire when Kars on King returns on Friday, August 23 from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The City of Oshawa hosts Kars on King, a free downtown event featuring various vehicle makes and models dating back to 1991 and older and welcomes partner activations from the Canadian Automotive Museum, Tribute Communities Centre and Oshawa Tourism.

Recreation Facility Holiday Hours – Civic Holiday

Civic Holiday Hours
On Monday, August 5, in observance of Civic Day, City recreation facilities will operate on modified hours as noted below:
- Camp Samac Outdoor Pool: Open from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Delpark Homes Centre: Open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- South Oshawa Community Centre: Open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All other recreation facilities will be closed, and registered recreation programs will be cancelled. View our swimming, skating, and sports schedules for a list of available activities.

Taking place in downtown Oshawa on September 21, 2024, the Convergence Music and Art Festival celebrates Oshawa’s rich history of music and art by showcasing contemporary talents in our community.

Universal change room closure at Civic Centennial Pool

The universal change room at the Civic Recreation Complex, Centennial Pool will be unavailable from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday to Friday starting July 2 through August 30. Gender-specific change rooms will be available for use.
