Holiday Hours: Canada Day

City recreation facilities will operate on modified hours of operation on Tuesday, July 1, Canada Day.

Tuesday, July 1

• Camp Samac Outdoor Pool open for public swimming.
• Delpark Homes Centre open 11 a.m. to 5p.m.
• Lakeview Park Beach supervised by lifeguards from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., weather permitting.
• All other recreation facilities are closed and activeOshawa registered recreation programs are cancelled.

Civic Recreation Complex Washroom Repairs

The main floor washrooms at the Civic Recreation Complex are closed for construction and repair until further notice. Community members are asked to use alternative washrooms at the Civic Fieldhouse while construction is ongoing.

Canada Day Celebration at Lakeview Park

Civic Dome Closure - June 20

The Civic Dome will be closed for maintenance June 20 and is scheduled to reopen June 21.

Update: Pool Maintenance Closures in June

The following City pools will experience extended closures in June to undergo scheduled maintenance: 

• Centennial Pool: Closed from June 8 to June 18. Scheduled to reopen on June 19. Changerooms at the Civic Recreation Complex will operate on a rotating schedule as follows:
  • Universal Changeroom closed June 9-11
  • Women’s Changeroom closed June 12-15
  • Men’s Changeroom closed June 16-18
