Help shape the way Oshawa moves!
The City of Oshawa is updating its Integrated Transportation Master Plan (I.T.M.P.) and Active Transportation Master Plan (A.T.M.P.) – and we need your input!
These updates will shape how people and goods move around Oshawa over the next 25 years. As our city continues to grow, it’s important to plan proactively for a transportation system that meets the needs of residents, businesses and visitors now and into the future.
Plan Highlights
- All Modes of Travel: Whether you walk, cycle, roll, take public transit, drive, or move goods, these plans will consider every way of getting around.
- Enhanced Safety and Accessibility: We're committed to improving safety, accessibility, and connectivity for everyone in Oshawa.
- Supporting Our Goals: These plans will build on and align with the City's environmental, economic, social, and Strategic Plan objectives.
The I.T.M.P and A.T.M.P. will build on Oshawa’s existing transportation network and provide a roadmap to guide transportation investment and decision-making.
Have your say!
Your input is important as the project team identifies existing problems and opportunities, evaluates alternative solutions and selects the preferred alternative to meet the community’s current and future needs.
- Visit Connect Oshawa (ConnectOshawa.ca/ITMP) to view the project background, complete an online feedback form and use the mapping tool to identify areas where issues and opportunities may exist along our transportation system.
- Paper feedback forms are available at Service Oshawa, located at City Hall (50 Centre St. S.). A paper version of the mapping tool is also available upon request through Service Oshawa.
- Attend a Drop-in Public Open House on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Bobby Orr Room at the Civic Recreation Complex, 99 Thornton Rd. S. in Oshawa.
Feedback will be received until noon on Friday June 27, 2025 and will be considered by the project team.
