Oshawa Fire Services announces appointment of Deputy Fire Chief Lance Fass
The City of Oshawa and Oshawa Fire Services (OFS) are proud to announce the appointment of Lance Fass as Deputy Fire Chief, Readiness and Support Services.
Deputy Chief Fass brings over 23 years of dedicated service to OFS, having built a distinguished career marked by operational excellence, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to the community. Beginning as a front-line firefighter, he has played an instrumental role in shaping OFS’s high standards through his active involvement with the Oshawa Professional Fire Fighters Association and key contributions to corporate initiatives.
In this new role, Deputy Chief Fass has assumed strategic oversight of several key areas, including Training, Mechanical, Procurement, Grants and Funding and Labour Liaison.
