Oshawa is Blooming: Celebrate the natural beauty of our city

From lush front yards and colourful flower beds to shaded parks and hidden green corners, Oshawa’s natural beauty is a true testament to the pride, care and connection of our residents and dedicated staff. The City of Oshawa is inviting community members to honour our city’s natural beauty in “Oshawa is Blooming,” an online engagement on Connect Oshawa.

Get Involved
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a nature enthusiast, or someone who enjoys a walk in the park, there’s a place for you in this city-wide celebration. Residents are encouraged to participate by:

• pinning their favourite green spaces, including most loved front yard flowers, a towering tree, or a peaceful public park with a photo in “Map Your Favourites;”
• leaning on the expertise of the City’s Parks, Forestry and Trails Division for advice on their garden or to ask questions about plant and tree care in “Ask City Staff;” and/or,
• sharing their ideas to further beautify our great city in “Bloom and Grow.”
