Property Tax Bills Issued & Potential Service Disruption
Oshawa property owners are advised that 2025 Final Property Tax Bills have been issued.
Key Dates and Reminders:
- May 2025: 2025 Final Tax Bills are issued.
- May 31, 2025: If property owners have not received their Final Property Tax Bill by this date, they are encouraged to reach out to Taxation Services at [email protected].
- June 30, 2025: Payment due date. Late payment fees will be applied to payments received after this date.
Property owners are advised that a possible Canada Post service disruption could begin later this month, which would impact mail delivery to and from the City.
Community members are still responsible for submitting any time sensitive payments and applications on time during a service disruption. Items received late are subject to penalty or interest.
Property owners enrolled in the City’s Pre-Authorized Tax Payment (P.T.P.) Plan should contact Service Oshawa to learn their July 2025 withdrawal amounts.
To avoid the impact of the service disruptions in the future, property owners are encouraged to register to receive their next Interim and Final tax bills through E-Billing.
Visit the City’s Property Taxes webpages to learn more about Taxation Services, alternate payment methods and more. Inquiries regarding general tax accounts, as well as City programs and services can be directed to Service Oshawa via email or by calling 905-436-3311.
