Share your voice to create a more inclusive and equitable Oshawa
The City of Oshawa is recruiting community representatives to join its Community Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (C.D.E.I.C.).
The C.D.E.I.C. includes individuals from all backgrounds who are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. Whether you have experience in advocacy, community organizing, program or policy development, or simply a passion for social justice, we welcome your unique perspective and talents.
The C.D.E.I.C. is recruiting people who live, work or study in Oshawa. Successful applicants will use their skills, knowledge, and lived experience to bring forward the voices of diverse community groups and organizations in Oshawa.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with a diverse group of individuals committed to making a difference.
- Advise on making all city programs, services, and policies open to everyone in Oshawa.
- Provide a voice for underrepresented voices and marginalized groups.
- Represent the C.D.E.I.C. at community events.
