Construction on Mary St. for watermain replacement

The Regional Municipality of Durham will begin construction for the replacement of the watermain, sanitary sewer and services on Mary St. from Rossland Rd. East to 150 metres north of Robert St. Works will include restoration of all disturbed areas and full asphalt removal and replacement.
Construction schedule
The Region’s contractor, Trisan Construction Ltd., will begin mobilizing the week of April 29, 2024 and anticipates completing the work by September 2025.

The City of Oshawa invites community members to celebrate Oshawa’s history with free admission during Doors Open. Join the community on May 4 in celebrating the architecture and history of Oshawa by visiting unique buildings and sites across the city.

Sunday, April 28 is National Day of Mourning

On April 28, the City of Oshawa will join communities and organizations in observing National Day of Mourning to remember those who have lost their lives or suffered injury or illness at work.
On Sunday, April 28 at 11 a.m. at City Hall (North Parkette), the City will honour workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job. The City will lower the Day of Mourning Flag at City Hall and flags will fly at half-mast at City facilities.
