Dig into some fun and help grow Oshawa’s urban forest!
Join Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF) for a Community Tree Planting on Sunday, October 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Russett Park (1290 Somerville St.) in Oshawa.
Participants must register in advance by midnight Thursday, October 20. There are no day of/walk-in sign ups. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Please remember to:
- dress appropriately – the event runs rain or shine
- wear closed-toe shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
- bring gardening gloves, if you have them (some extras may be available on site)
- bring multiple filled water bottles – there will be no water refill station on site
