Notice of Public Meeting: Proposed City of Oshawa Development Charge By-law Update
What:
The City of Oshawa is undertaking an update to the 2019 Development Charge By-law and Background Study. Council will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act (D.C.A.), 1997 to present and obtain public input on the proposed City of Oshawa Development Charge By-law Update and underlying Development Charge Background Study.
When: Friday, May 24, 2024 – 9:30 a.m.
Where: City Hall, Council Chamber, 50 Centre Street South.
Members of the public wishing to address Council in person do not need to register to speak.
Members of the public wishing to address Council through electronic means to make a delegation are required to submit their request for this format no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 23, 2024 by contacting Legislative Services in writing at [email protected].
Members of the public are also invited to submit correspondence concerning this matter. Please address your comments to Legislative Services at [email protected] by 4:30 p.m. on May 14, 2024 in order for your correspondence to be provided on the Agenda. Comments received after 4:30 p.m. on May 14, 2024 and up to May 23, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. will be provided to Council members at the Public Meeting.
