Free activities and events for youth May 1-7
In celebration of National Youth Week and National Youth Arts Week, the City of Oshawa is offering an exciting lineup of free activities and drop-in programs from May 1 to 7.
The Oshawa Youth Council played a key role in the planning and implementation of the week of free events.
In collaboration with community partners including BGC Durham, Oshawa Public Libraries and The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, free youth events include:
- Fun Swim
- Public Skate
- Movie Night
- Board Game Café
- Paint Night
- and more!
Some of the events require pre-registration for attendance and are based on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information and to register, visit Oshawa.ca/NYW.
National Youth Week and National Youth Arts Week are initiatives supported by the Provincial Consortium of Youth in Recreation, aimed at celebrating youth involvement in the community.
