Oshawa welcomes global supply chain leader Martin Brower to Northwood Business Park

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce that Martin Brower, a global leader in supply chain solutions, will occupy a new major industrial development at Northwood Business Park, and is expected to bring approximately 175 new jobs to our community.
Panattoni Development Company has collaborated with Stonemont Financial Group and BentallGreenOak to bring Martin Brower to Oshawa. The facility, which measures approximately 172,000 sq.ft. includes office space and is located at 650 Conlin Rd. W.

The City of Oshawa is redeveloping Greenbriar Park at 691 Greenbriar Drive and wants to hear your thoughts on the preferred playground equipment and accessibility features.
The conceptual plan includes a new playground, site furniture and new park pathway(s).
Community members are invited to provide their feedback by:
- completing a feedback from online on Connect Oshawa (ConnectOshawa.ca/GreenbriarPark); or,

The City of Oshawa has added American Sign Language (A.S.L.) videos to oshawa.ca and connectoshawa.ca to better inform the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community of the availability of sign language interpreters when accessing City programs and services.

Durham Region Notice: Upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in Oshawa

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses of upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in the City of Oshawa starting today (Monday, September 11, 2023) and lasting until fall 2024.
When: September 11 to fall 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: North and southbound lane restrictions will be in effect on Simcoe Street South, from Olive Avenue to Metcalfe Street, in the City of Oshawa. One lane of traffic will remain open.

Location: 260 McKim St.
Details: Community members are advised that the City of Oshawa will be undertaking construction of Sunnyside Park including, site grading, pathways, playground, site furnishings and plantings.
How will this work affect you?
- For public safety, Sunnyside Park will be closed and fenced during construction.
- From time to time, heavy equipment will need to access the site from James St., and associated noise levels may increase during these times.
