The City of Oshawa is undertaking a comprehensive review of its Official Plan – the blueprint that guides how Oshawa will grow for years to come – and we want to hear your ideas!

The City of Oshawa is redeveloping Easton Park at 900 Adelaide Ave. E and wants to hear your thoughts on the preferred playground equipment and accessibility features.
The conceptual plan includes a new splash pad, junior and senior playground, replacement of existing site furnishings, shade structure, parking lot replacement, development of internal park pathway(s), the addition of tree planting and naturalization areas and provisional space which may include a half basketball court.

New pedestrian bridge for Erie Park neighbourhood

With spring officially arriving, Ward 5 residents are making use of the newly constructed pedestrian bridge in Erie Park (43 Erie St.). The bridge connects pedestrians and cyclists to the City’s trail system.
Project highlights:
- new three-metre wide galvanized steel bridge with safety railings
- creek bank erosion measures
- new trees and shrubs
- repaved pathway with energy-efficient LED lighting leading up to the bridge
