The Regional Municipality of Durham has begun construction of a new feedermain on Conlin Rd. from Thickson Rd. N. (Regional Road 26) to Stevenson Rd. N., and on Garrard side road approximately 400 m. south of Conlin Rd. in the Town of Whitby and City of Oshawa. The City of Oshawa extends its deepest sorrow on the passing of The Honourable David C. Onley, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
Mr. Onley served the province as Lieutenant Governor from 2007 to 2014. As Lieutenant Governor, he served all Ontarians with honour and was committed to raising public awareness about accessibility and inclusion. Prior to his appointment as the 28th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Onley was a highly respected broadcast journalist.
